This is Guinevere. She was my guitar teacher before she and Jessica returned to New York. We are at Powell’s bookstore in the children’s section looking for coloring books. Look at the chair she’s sitting in. This picture was taken last fall.
The audio clip is made from the different recordings Guinevere made for me to help me practice. I have maybe 10 recordings. One time she said “Roo…remember!” before she began playing. Apple’s Garage Band is super easy to use. “Remember” reminds me of the movie Wrath of Kahn when Spock downloads his brain into McCoy.
I can’t remember the name of the place where this next picture was taken. It’s on Division street. Guinevere likes to eat chocolate and deserts for dinner.
Her friend is a ball of energy. She’s the type of person that can party all night and not get tired. My friend Melissa is like that. I visited Melissa and her husband one day in Dallas. We went out to dinner and when we got back to their apartment, we sat on the couch and talked. Well…Melissa did most of the talking…all the talking. By midnight, her husband was already asleep. Melissa was still giving me advice. By 1 o’clock, my eyes were rolling and I was doing the head snap-back. She caught me doing this and asked if I was tired. I politely said no. I said no again when she caught the second head-snap. At 2:30 in the morning, and third head-snap, I finally confessed that I was too tired to listen to her. Happy as a clam, she hopped off the couch and skipped off to the bedroom. I was asleep before my head hit the sofa cushion.
